Osita Enwe

BIO

Osita Enwe is a commercial risk and legal strategist at SRJ Legal, advising founders, chief executives, and institutions on high-value transactions, disputes, and governance decisions where legal and commercial risks collide.

His work is focused on a recurring problem in complex engagements: the presenting issue is rarely the real risk. It is often found in the structure of the transaction, the other party’s capacity, regulatory exposure, or what happens after commitments are made. Osita brings commercial & risks clarity to these moments, helping clients understand not just what is legally correct, but what is commercially defensible.

He has served as a corporate counsel to Lagos Business School since 2018, where he advises on institutional governance, contracting frameworks, and regulatory exposure. At SRJ Legal, he leads engagements across sectors where decision quality, risk control, and execution discipline are critical.

Osita’s advisory approach integrates legal precision with commercial judgment. Whether structuring transactions, resolving disputes, or shaping governance frameworks, his focus remains consistent: ensuring clients do not commit to positions they cannot sustain or defend over time.

Beyond client work, Osita is an institution builder. He is the Faculty Director at Africa Practice Academy, where he focuses on Mentorship-Readiness Professional Development (MRPD)—a structured approach to preparing emerging professionals to engage mentors responsibly and translate guidance into sound professional judgment. He is also the founder of Surevetted, Nigeria’s Digital Workforce Trust and Employment Verification Platform, designed to address systemic gaps in employment data integrity and workforce trust.

His work reflects a broader interest in how systems – legal, institutional, and human – interact to produce outcomes. He is particularly interested in helping organizations and families move from reactive decision-making to structured, principle-driven commercial & risk clarity.
